Brief Summary

The Field Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure and technology systems deployed by Stone Oak Ltd. The role involves working directly at customer sites to install networking equipment, fiber infrastructure, IoT devices, and other digital technology solutions. The technician will ensure that all installations are performed according to technical specifications and industry best practices while supporting the delivery of reliable and high-quality technology solutions to clients.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or technical certification in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT infrastructure installation, telecom infrastructure deployment, or technical field services
  • Hands-on experience with structured cabling, fiber optic installations, and network equipment deployment
  • Familiarity with enterprise networking equipment such as switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls
  • Exposure to installation and configuration of IT systems including servers, networking devices, CCTV systems, or IoT devices
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts and IP addressing
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, cabling layouts, and installation plans
  • Experience working in data center environments, enterprise offices, or telecom network installations is an advantage
  • Certifications such as CCNA, Fiber Optic Technician certification, or equivalent technical training are an advantage
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites when required

Job Description

  • Install and configure network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, and related equipment
  • Perform structured cabling installations including copper and fiber optic cabling for enterprise networks
  • Install and maintain IT equipment such as servers, network cabinets, patch panels, and power distribution units
  • Support the deployment of IoT devices, smart building systems, and connected technology solutions
  • Assist in the installation of data center infrastructure and server room environments
  • Conduct site surveys and assist in preparing installation layouts and infrastructure plans
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnostics on network and IT infrastructure deployed at client sites
  • Provide on-site technical support and assist in resolving operational issues
  • Document installations, configurations, and maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure installations meet technical specifications and project timelines
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and installation standards during all field operations
  • Participate in maintenance visits, system upgrades, and technology deployments across client environments

The role focuses on identifying new clients, building long-term relationships, and positioning the company’s expertise in digital transformation, IT infrastructure consulting, smart technologies, and software solutions. The Sales Executive will work closely with technical teams and project leads to understand client requirements, propose tailored solutions, and drive successful deal closures while contributing to the company’s growth and market presence.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technology sales, enterprise solutions sales, or IT services sales
  • Exposure to enterprise IT environments including networking, cloud infrastructure, data centers, or digital platforms
  • Proven experience in B2B sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Understanding of technology solutions such as digital transformation consulting, network infrastructure, smart systems, IoT, or enterprise software platforms
  • Familiarity with solution-based selling approaches and consultative sales methodologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to engage with senior decision makers including IT managers, CTOs, and business executives
  • Strong presentation and proposal preparation skills
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms and sales pipeline management tools is an advantage

  • Engage with enterprise clients, institutions, and organisations to understand their digital transformation and technology requirements
  • Promote Stone Oak’s services including digitalisation consulting, smart city advisory, fiber network architecture, data center design, IT infrastructure consulting, IoT solutions, and digital platform development
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and solution briefs tailored to client needs
  • Work closely with technical and project teams to develop solution architectures and commercial proposals
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity qualification to contract negotiation and deal closure
  • Maintain and expand relationships with key clients and strategic partners
  • Track sales pipeline activities and maintain accurate reporting through CRM tools
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities
  • Participate in industry events, networking activities, and business development initiatives
  • Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the development of sales strategies and go-to-market plans
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by coordinating closely with delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
